About the lesson

I like to have my students imitate what I do with simple chords or melody. phrases. I like to teach students songs that are simple and first and then gradually increase the level of difficulty. I try to pick simple songs at first that people have heard and are simple to play. Sometimes I will make YouTube videos to help them along.

I am a professional musician and teacher. I play in a band called the Earthkeepers and love teaching. Currently I teach over Zoom or FaceTime only. I teach all styles of music. Many of my students have gone on to do great things, like play professionally and become songwritingers and well rounded players. I love singing harmony and recording with my band.
