About the lesson
The approach I use to tutor students in the last 14 years is by inspiring students to engage in their education with diligence and acknowledge the ability to learn the material. My thought process is always positive, and it's very important to listen to the students express the trouble they are having in completing the work. From there, I teach students who are struggling and lack confidence how to problem solve and give them learning tools to use in learning the material at home and at school.

About Rebecca
My career started in Geology. I worked as a geology lab tech, field researcher, geology instructor/tutor at EPCC and NMSU. In 2006, I began as a tutor for A to Z In-Home Tutoring and 100+ In-Home Tutoring. I tutored students enrolled in the Gadsden District. After these companies terminated tutoring services in 2009, I began my own private tutoring services: L-E-A In-Home Tutoring. L-E-A stands for Learn-Excel-Achieve! I have tutored over 30 students who all achieved to become A/B students and achieved to have a better outlook and confidence of themselves.

Details
The tuition is 20/hr and 7.25 for every extra 15 minutes after the first hour. My cancellation policy is the parent must cancel no later than two hours before the set time of tutoring, and if I arrive to the home and there is a no show, the parent is obligated to pay for the one hour session. I, too, will have the obligation to notify parent of my cancellation of tutoring no later than two hours before the session.
