About the lesson
Heavily focused on skill development. After 1 (maybe 2) sessions I will be able to see where the player is at as well as discuss points of focus / improvement and begin to personalize the workouts toward the individual. Having worked with high level athletes as well as true beginners I’ve found it’s important to include the player in the process of personalizing their workouts and ultimately improving their games. I am passionate about my clients improvement and definitely feel that while the experience should be challenging and focused it must also be enjoyable.

I can't say enough good things about Jacob as a basketball trainer and confidence builder. My son has trained with Jacob since he was in 1st grade and his growth has been amazing. While the training focuses on basketball skills, Jacob also encourages and gets the most out of the kids. My son has gone from barely being able to dribble to starting on his AAU team and becoming one of the leading scorers. In the time he has worked with Coach Jacob, I have seen his confidence continue to grow. Jacob is respectful but firm and initially focuses on the fundamentals. My son has gone from barely being able to hit the rim to shooting 80 percent from the free throw line because of the work he has done with Jacob on getting his shooting form right. The best part of working with Jacob is that, as my son's skills improved, Jacob pushed him to work on more complex and game specific skills that he uses every time he plays. The training isn't static, its challenging and continues to build on itself. If you or your child is serious about getting better at basketball, Coach Jacob will get you there. His knowledge of the game is amazing and he notices aspects of your game that needs improving and works on it in a way that you can take with you at home and practice. 5 stars for sure.
Coach Jacob was a great role model for my son. He was able to break down the fundamentals, so each step was easy to learn. He worked with my son for years and it allowed him to grow as a basketball player. Not only did he learn how to play basketball, but also learned how to be a leader by watching this amazing coach.
Jacob is a great basketball coach who worked with my son from middle school all the way through high school. His individual and group lessons are always highly productive and tailored to the needs of the player. Jacob communicates well with parents and his talent as a coach is unmatched.
Hello, my name is John, and Jacob played basketball for me when he was a teenager. I thought so much of him that I asked him to join my staff as an assistant coach some years later. Among his responsibilities were to run our skills/drills portion of practice. Not only was he chock full of great ideas, the kids loved them and him. As a result, the team improved in many aspects of play, most notably, ball-handling and shooting. He is such a trustworthy teacher that I knew our team would be in good hands in case I had to miss a practice. Jacob will be a benefit to whatever job/business he puts his mind to.

$50 for an hour of private training.
$70 for an hour and a half of private training.
Group lessons price varies depending on amount of players in the workout and whether it’s for an hour or hour and a half of training. For groups of younger or less experienced players I generally say keep the group to no more than 4-6 to ensure each player receives individual attention and that the time is utilized as well as possible. Older, more experienced groups of players can do 8-10+ in a group training session.
