About the lesson

My sessions are ran primarily as workshops. I want to make sure that whoever I am instructing feels comfortable and relaxed, as submitting or showcasing any works of writing or comedy can be very stressful. These sessions are conversation based, and are meant for the student to be able to bring their work to the level that they wish for it to be.

About Candace

I have a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from Emerson College in Creative Writing, I have been performing as a stand-up comedian for 7 years. In 2016, I was ranked 7th in the country for Humorous Interpretation at the National Speech and Debate Tournament. I have extensive experience with performance and public speaking. In May of 2021, I was the host, head writer, and executive producer for ComEx Tonight, a late night talk show event in which I interviewed professionals in the industry. These guests included Leslie Jones, Reggie Watts, Bob Saget, and more.
