About the lesson
Tilen offers individual lessons following the thoughtfully prepared environment and adjusts the demands individually.
He offers live lessons at your home or his working studio in The Hague. Online lessons are available only if that is the wish of the student. Be prepared for the live performances at the end of every two to three months. Lessons include playing with pre-recorded play along, as well as an accompaniment with a pianist.
Lessons are available for various levels. He can offer lessons for beginners as well as for professionals and Bachelor or Master students.

About Tilen
Tilen Lebar (b. 1993) is a Slovenian composer, an improviser and a saxophonist based in The Hague, the Netherlands. After finishing his studies at Conservatoire for Music and Ballet in Maribor with Peter Kruder, he has continued and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in musical arts with principal study in the saxophone class of Matjaz Drevensek at the Academy of Music (AM), University in Ljubljana. Further on, he continued his Master's Instrumental pedagogical studies in Saxophone under Miha Rogina and Matjaz Drevensek at the same University. Later on, he was educating himself in the composition class of Uros Rojko at the AM, University of Ljubljana. Tilen finished his Master Composition studies at Royal Conservatoire in The Hague in the classes of Guus Janssen, Peter Adriaansz and Cornelis De Bondt. Moreover, he finished his one-year saxophone studies in class of Raaf Hekkema.
He is actively enrolled in the field of chamber music, as well as is regularly premiering new works of young composers. Furthermore, Tilen is actively participating in the field of the improvised music scene and interdisciplinary arts and regularly cooperates with Zavod Sploh, KUD Mreza, Ensemble Szene Instrumental, CONA | institute for contemporary arts processing and Inexhaustible Editions. His sound world reveals a great knowledge of individual instrumental extended techniques as well as contemplated colours, detailed structures in sound tinctures, all of those expressed in his personal view in introverted musical approach. His works were performed in Slovenia, Estonia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Croatia and the Netherlands. His collaborations included ensembles as Asamisimasa from Oslo, ensemble Stere (Ljubljana), ensemble Oerknal (the Netherlands), Slagwerk Den Haag, Experimental studio of SWR Freiburg and Dutch National Opera & Ballet, among others.
