I specialize in researching, drafting, and editing essays. As an Honors Research Intensive English student, I am more than qualified to help you get an A on your next paper!

About the lesson

I am an English tutor --I am happy to assist you with everything that entails. Reading, grammar, research (including finding sources and learning citation), and WRITING. I can work with you on a weekly basis, or a paper-by-paper basis.

Papers and Essays:

Method 1: If you have a draft you would like to discuss, I encourage my students to send their papers to me 24 hours in advance of our session. I will be prepared to discuss problem areas and I will have a plan to move forward. The goal is to end the session with everything you need to complete a final draft.

Method 2: We can work on building a paper together from the ground up. I can assist with a variety of paper topics. I work with high school, undergraduate, and post-graduate students on their papers. I also assist with research and finding sources to cite.

Method 3: Let's talk about it! If you have particular needs, I am happy to discuss that with you. I am committed to helping you achieve your goals and get the grades you deserve.

About Vanessa

Hello, my name is Vanessa. I am an Honors (Research Intensive designation) English student and I LOVE what I do. I have been published by Johns Hopkins University and am currently working on an honors thesis that will also likely be published.

As an honors student, I have taken a number of graduate-level English courses at Saint Louis Univerity and have completed them with a 4.0 grade-point average. I am qualified to work with high school, undergraduate, and even graduate students.

Please do not be shy about proposing complex paper topics! I minor in Law, Religion, and Politics, so I can assist with almost any kind of analysis. Let's talk about it!
