About Edward
I am a high school humanities teacher in Northern NJ. I graduated cum laude from Yale and have a master's degree from the University of Oxford. I work with students on a variety of subjects, but specialist in SAT prep and art history. I have taught art history at three art museums and tutored dozens of students in SAT Prep, reading comprehension, writing, history, art history, and public speaking. Additionally, I have written publically implemented curricula for encyclopedic art museums.

Edward is one of the best teachers, I’m do grateful for him! He is very patient, and kind - if you don’t immediately understand a concept he can take a step back and try explaining things a different way, which is exactly what i needed. Also, he is great at taking topics that feel complicated / unreachable and explain it in a way that is much more straightforward (and easy to remember). 10/10 would recommend!!
Eddie is a kind and thoughtful teacher who is committed to ensuring that everyone he teaches walks away from his lessons with a deep understanding of the topic. He is able to communicate information clearly and articulately while making sure he is meeting everyone's individual learning needs.
Eddie is an amazing teacher! I got the chance to see some of his tours at the Yale University Art Gallery and they were not to be missed. As a tutor and teacher, he is patient, kind, easy to understand, and full of interesting perspectives. Cannot recommend Eddie highly enough!
Edward is a fantastic teacher. So generous and committed and patient. He’s great at explaining concepts.
Eddie is a great teacher. He is kind and patient. He is also adept at distilling complicated topics and making students understand.
Edward was an excellent teacher. With little background in art history I was struggling in my course. Edward taught me in an easy to understand way and worked well with my learning style and in building my confidence and mastery of the subject. He is a skilled and talented professional.
Edward is a fantastic tutor! He is engaging, patient, and can break down complex topics in simple ways. I could not speak more highly of him!
Eddie's teaching style is accessible, clear, and inviting. I have no prior background in art history, yet Eddie's lessons leave me with a real connection to and understanding of the pieces he discusses. His interpretations are both informed and engaging!
