About the lesson

I find it helps to take a contextual approach to both reading and writing in French. Understanding the context will help with reading comprehension and will set clear and deliberate goals in your writing. Once a student has a firm grasp of grammar and vocabulary, speaking French well is dependent on conversation. Hearing French in an accent similar to your own is critical to feeling comfortable convening ideas and eventually developing a semblance of an internal monolog in French which is when true fluency is achieved.
