Privet! I'm a native Russian speaker. I earned MA in Linguistics and MS in Management from Tver State University, Russia. Currently I live in Russia and offer lessons to everyone interested in the Russian language and culture. I customize my lessons depending on the needs of my students. I make sure my students spend a lot of time practicing speaking, building vocabulary and learning grammar along the way. I use high quality lesson materials, games, videos and other creative supplements. I incorporate interesting and useful pieces of information on Russian culture, traditions and mentality in my lessons, so the "mysterious Russian soul" would not look too mysterious to you!

Perfect! Irina is wonderful! She is friendly, personable, prompt, well organized and very patient.
Irina provides a good mix of speaking, reading and various activities which allow you to process the language in different ways. I believe this is an important approach since everyone learns differently.
Irina is happy to work with any materials you are already working through. In addition, she will supplement with her own resources. I have found this useful since I appreciate having things explained in different ways. It give me the another avenue to process information and ensure that a strong connection is made with the material.

I have been taking Russian lessons with Irina for the past year, she is a wonderful teacher! She makes things easy to digest and personalizes her content to her students.
Her classes are fun and enjoyable, she using different techniques to help me understand the language including games and ending the classes with awesome cultural facts.Irina is an incredibly patient, understanding and supportive instructor. She encourages students and is committed to their success. She mixes in great exercises with cultural learnings and keeps classes exciting and fun.
Irina has been very helpful in my efforts to learn the Russian language. Her lessons are well structured with the right balance of material per lesson so that it isn’t overwhelming but still a challenge. She is always prepared and makes a majority of the content herself and can supplement with a book if you already have one. Her clear explanations and pronunciation make having a teacher far more valuable than book study only!
