About the lesson

Rollerblading is an exhilarating, fast, and physically demanding activity. Blading is a growing sport in the United States, with a major hub in the D.C. area and on the east coast. I will teach you the basics of skating and how to take proper care of your skates. Lessons will be an hour-long on the weekends.

About Jake

I am a recent college graduate passionate about urban skating, aggressive blading, roller hockey, and fitness training. I have been blading for many years and want to share my love for skating with those interested in the sport.

With me, you will learn the basics of skating. The first few lessons will get you acquainted with the proper movements and techniques of skating. We will then build upon our skills in the following lessons, eventually getting to speed skating, fitness training, and (if interested) the basics of roller hockey.

I am a former camp counselor with a background in sports education. I am available for single and multi-participant lessons.
