Rising Junior in high school who took biology freshman year and plan to take AP Bio my senior year. Open to tutoring freshmen in high school or anyone taking biology for the first time

About the lesson

Before starting any actual tutoring, I’d like to get to know the student to create a good relationship with them and to better understand who they are as a person. I want to find out their strengths and weaknesses to figure out what the lesson needs to be focused on, and from there to see where they are in their knowledge. After that I need to get a better understanding of their learning style: do they learn more effectively on their own or with a guide?. From there I will answer questions/problems they have for them, together, and then have them work on one on their own. (Just a heads up: this will be my first time tutoring)
