About the lesson
I teach by providing each student with an individualized lesson plan. I develop the plan for each session based on the progress of each child. I take recommendations from student's parents and ask them to participate in my planning by conferencing with me regularly and helping their child with any additional work I send home for them to do between sessions. I spend about an hour planning each lesson. Once a month I access my students and provide their parents with these progress reports.

About Evon
My name is Evon Todd. I'm retired. I taught for 38 years and operated my own tutoring service for seventeen years. I enjoy working with younger elementary school students and their families. I have a degree in Elementary Ed and stay current on all the state required certifications. I follow all CDC guidelines for COVID protection. I'm passionate about reading with the belief that if a child can read they can master almost any subject. I also recognize that each child is unique and approachs learning in a different way. It's part of my job to figure out what that approach is.
