About the lesson

My teaching approach is entirely based on personalized learning. Throughout all my education I realized I do not learn in the same common way as most of my peers. This has encouraged me to explore different studying methods for myself in order to improve my experience in my classes. I believe this has made me a successful teacher because I can sympathize with students who are struggling and put in the extra work to help them find the best methods for them.

About Renee

I am a recent graduate from UC Santa Barbara. Here, I received a Bachelor of Science in Aquatic Biology. I have five years of working in the scientific field through internships and jobs during my undergraduate career. I also have two years of experience tutoring intro biology, marine biology, and being a teaching assistant in general chemistry at the college level. My teaching experience also comes from my time spent instructing swim lessons to adults and children. This has given me the opportunity to really perfect my approach in the world of teaching.
