About the lesson

I enjoy teaching a wide range of students - from the earliest beginners, to those preparing for college auditions. I believe in meeting students where they are and working together with each individual to help define their personal goals, and creating a realistic route for them to be achieved. There is no one right way to teach, or to learn!

About Sarah

I am a professional oboist teaching and performing throughout the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania. I have been teaching private oboe, music theory, and music history students for over 15 years. I hold a Bachelor of Music Performance in Oboe from Moravian College and a joint Masters Degree in Musicology and Women's and Gender Studies from Brandeis University. When I'm not performing or reed making I love learning more about the history of women composers.
