I teach many methods and styles, I predominantly teach the Suzuki Method to gain basic skills and ear training. I tailor my teaching to the student's specific goals. Note reading is taught simultaneously with learning songs, developing technique, and training the ear.

I am a professional violinist, having played with various ensembles and symphonies over my 30 years of performing experience. I have been teaching for 25 years. My degree is from UW Madison and I specializied in human development. I have attended Suzuki Institutes as a student, parent, and teacher for for many years.
