About the lesson
My lessons include a combination of teaching methods - not everyone learns the same way. I start by introducing concepts and techniques that are important to all drummers, then I tailor the lesson to each student to work on strengthening any personal struggles with learning. We break each exercise down step-by-step into easy-to-digest material. We are always working on songs in the meantime, since playing music and having fun is our ultimate goal!

Perfect! Listens with the intent to understand me. His ability to convey instructions in a simplistic manner encourages me to want to learn more and do more with my drumming. So far the experience has been 'lekker'.
- Nathan's response : Peter is an enthusiastic and dedicated student. He has a great attitude and is easy to work with. Very excited about our next lesson!
Perfect! I had a great first lesson with Nathan! I'm looking forward to continuing
- Nathan's response : Ben was awesome! He is a quick learner and his hands looked great on all of the exercises we went over. Looking forward to our next lesson!

As a beginner, I found Nathan and in a short period of time, was picking up grooves and paradiddles. Nathan explains things super well and makes it easy to understand. He will work around a busy schedule and for me, that was a major plus. His style of drumming is super sick! I highly recommend Nathan, as I am where I am today because of him.
Nathan is an insanely talented drummer with an unrivaled work ethic. Whatever you want to learn, he can teach it, and his discipline will rub off on you in the best way. Very professional and approachable, with a rich musical resume. Let him share his knowledge and experience with you, he has a ton of it!
Super patient and nice. amazing skills as a drummer and musician.
I know Nathan from playing music with him for years and he’s easily one of the most talented drummers I know. He’s dedicated, disciplined and has a great approach to teaching drums. From beginner to expert, he can teach any level and style. Would highly recommend.
