About the lesson
I am a patient teacher who works with each student differently. I do not have a preconceived recipe that identifies what a student needs to be successful, but there are several attributes that should be addressed. One of these qualities is passion. I am passionate: about my students, about the subject matter, and certainly about having my students "get it". Another important quality innate is effectiveness, whether it is in the classroom, in small group settings, or when dealing with parents and administration. A third necessary attribute is integrity, both academically and personally. And, perhaps the most important characteristic I attempt to imbue in my students is challenge. I want my students to comprehend new subject matter, learn to act maturely and responsibly, and ultimately, become contributing members of society.
