About the lesson
I am currently employed as a Clinical Chemist after having done a Research Chemistry post-doc. I obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry) from the University of Florida (2016). I also received a B.S. Chemistry - College of Charleston and a B.S. Biochemistry - College of Charleston (2012).
I am available via in-person and online for tutoring. About Candice
I worked as a research assistant for the past eight years in analytical laboratories conducting biomedical research. I have over four years of teaching experience as a (1) Guest Lecturer for General Chemistry Honors II, (2) Organic Chemistry and General Chemistry Instructor for the Princeton Review, and (3) Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry labs. Over the past ten years, I have tutored for the University of Florida (UF) Athletic Association as a General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry tutor, UF and Sante Fe Community College Gen Chem and Orgo tutor, and CofC MSPS math/science tutor.
I generated practice tests and quizzes, taught and reviewed lecture material during each tutoring session, evaluated student progress on a weekly basis and provided written/oral feedback.
