About the lesson

I approach teaching by meeting students wherever they are. Everyone on earth can learn and improve, but pushing students towards absolute perfection can be stifling. I want each student to feel more confident and more capable at the end of the class. Sometimes that means they feel like they nailed their performance and they're doing great, and sometimes that means their writing project has a lot of problems, but they know how to tackle them .

About Julia

I've studied acting and performance techniques for years, including a summer program at LAMDA, and my written work has been produced professionally multiple times. My past teaching experiences include assistant teaching at the Alliance Theatre, interning at True Colors Theatre Company, and leading summer lessons with (concealed information). I graduated from Emory University in 2020 with a BA in creative writing and interdisciplinary arts.
