I approach teaching with a sense of fun and creativity, aspiring to cater my lessons to the needs and interests of my students. I believe that students need to feel a sense of care and connection in order for learning to take place. I like to mix it up with different approaches and activities to keep students excited and engaged.

I have a Bachelors in English, creative writing and a Masters in Teaching. I spent ten years teaching, coaching, leading trips, and school administration before taking a break to travel. I have been successful at strengthening student writing and building stronger reading comprehension skills.
