About the lesson
I base my classes on communication and positive interaction. My students' age can range from anything between 6 and 60. We will meet through different platforms (eg. Skype, Zoom, whichever you prefer). I want my students to be active and attentive, as I will ask questions throughout the lesson to make sure the information has been absorbed. Don't worry if you are not too skilled, I will evaluate you and plan the lesson according to your needs. I will answer any questions whenever you are facing difficulties. I strive to make our classes fun and entertaining by adopting an easy-going attitude. My goal here is not to necessarily burden you with the overwhelming complexities of the game but to rather make you fall in love with it and stimulate your inquisitiveness, while also encouraging you to willingly discover and learn more. Usually, all the lessons I held with my students are conducted via Lichess as private studies. The website is incredibly interactive and it is perfect for chess coaching. What is more, all the studies my students contribute to can be accessed at any time, if one wants to revise the lessons.

About Malina
I have been a professional chess player for around 9 years. I am a Woman Fide Master with an Elo of 2091. I have been teaching chess for over 4 years now. Many of my students have won numerous prizes in national, even international tournaments and chess has helped them develop discipline, critical thinking, and attentiveness. I find working with others incredibly rewarding, especially when I see them growing their chess knowledge under my eyes.

I have known Malina for a long time and when it comes to her proficiency and qualifications in chess, I can firmly state the fact that she plays this sport with great imagination. Furthermore, she definitely has a natural flair for it. As far as learning her students is concerned, she has a lot of patience and always tries to transmit all the information and strategies she has and developed over the time to them. Also, her inquiring mind is permanently searching for new solutions and new ways for achieving success and winning any competition. Being tutored by her is very beneficial for any student out there who wants to understand the art of playing chess to the fullest. She has won plenty of competitions, amongst of which there are some of global level and she is also highly admired in both her community and country.
Malina is an excellent educator. Not only is she very patient and kind, but her ability to explain and present the information makes it very easy and fun to learn. She has proven to be very succesful in multiple domains, not only chess, like math, foreign languages, linguistics and many more.
Few people in my town are not aware of Malina's successful carrier as a chess player. Having discovered the "King's Game" at a young age and being talented and perseverant she has achieved exceptional results at national and international competitions. I have known Malina personally for six years now. I was classmates with her in high school and I can confidently say that she is just as good when it comes to mathematics and linguistics as she is when it comes to chess. I strongly believe that she is a gifted tutor not only due to her vast experience, but also due to her personal qualities, such as her intelligence, logic, patience and creativity. She has a way with words, making complicated and complex subjects seem incredibly easy to understand. She is a dedicated person who puts her heart and soul into everything that she does. And despite all of the things that I have mentioned so far, she is quite a modest person. I am sure she is going to help others learn the intricacies of this sport we call chess.
I have met Malina both as a chess player and as a teacher. She is a very kind, passionate and intelligent person, who likes to teach and inspire kids.
Malina has a well structured teaching plan and she explains everything thoroughly, making her lesson very enjoyable.
I highly recommend her as your future teacher!View more recommendations
