Giovanna holds classes & workshops in ITALY, CANADA and USA teaching her personally developed vocal system, "The CROSSOVER SINGING METHOD", which combines 25 years of cosmopolitan experience of teaching and coaching singers of all ages and backgrounds of style including jazz, pop, rock, classical.

The Crossover Singing Method is the first Certified Teaching Method in Italy and the book CROSSOVER SINGING METHOD, published in the 2005 in Italian and English, is among the Top 5 on the Best Seller Italian list as Vocal/Singing Method.

Giovanna Gattuso is an International performer, singer/songwriter and world renowned vocal coach. Awarded Best Latin Female Singer Songwriter of 2006 and Best World Music Album of 2006 with “Jungle e Maree” at the 16th Annual International Los Angeles Music Awards.

Giovanna is a sophisticated and refined musician and vocalist and her vast repertoire and styles include traditional Opera, Mediterranean Folk music, contemporary, bebop and Latin Jazz. Her artistry includes worldwide collaborations in music, art and fashion.

Author of the Crossover Singing Method, released in Italian and English, Top 5 on the Best Seller Italian list as Vocal/Singing Methods; her personal vocal system combines cosmopolitan experience and status, along with 20 years experience with pupils and singers with jazz, pop, rock and classical background within orchestra & choral direction. She is also the author of the audio book Fasten your seatbelts: Singing behind the wheel!

She lives both in Italy (Rome and Turin) and the USA where she founded the Venice Voice Academy in Los Angeles. Giovanna regularly holds master-classes and seminars featuring her personal vocal system in ITALY, USA & CANADA.

Giovanna earned her diploma at the Academy of the Arts in Italy; she has perfected her vocal skills, Gospel and Jazz styles, at Centro Jazz (Torino, Italy) with Ken Anderson at U.C.S.D. (San Diego, CA) while she has advanced her vocal technique with Maestro Seth Riggs (Los Angeles, CA) and Bel Canto with the Maestra Aida Claretto Prestia (Italy). She collaborates for recordings and concerts with some of the top Italian and American jazz musicians. Her eclectic variety of styles and her unique capacity to adjust her voice to different formats have given her the capability to collaborate with musicians on projects of various genres.

Giovanna’s vocal and performance workshops have been hosted by over one hundred schools, studios and Universities throughout Europe, America & Canada. Recently she was invited and honored to give a lecture at the prestigious La Sapienza University and at the European Parlament in Rome.

In June 2013 GG conducted a children's choir accompanied by an orchestra, along with international guest soloists produced by David Foster. This gala event was presented to the Mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa, for the official opening of the new Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX.
