About the lesson
Hi there!
My name's Cassandra and I have been teaching voice for over 7 years. I've taught 220+ students, ages 4-55, both privately and for multiple academies.
I love teaching because I'm a firm believer that music helps us become better people.
When words fail, music speaks, and the more we know about ourselves, the easier it is to understand each other.
It is important to me to create an enriching and fun environment for each student.
I prioritize incorporating the fundamentals and proper technique within each lesson while also making learning fun through engaging pieces and concepts.
I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in Music (my main instrument is classical voice) and I have 17 years of experience as a pianist.
My craft is focused primarily in the classical/opera field and I also have experience performing/teaching theatre repertoire.
I've performed in various locations ranging from Philadelphia, PA to Vienna, Austria.
I look forward to helping you along your journey!
