About the lesson
My approach to tutoring is to the topic interesting enough so the student will learn to love studying it. I provide in-depth explanations and modern examples regarding the topic to help them connect the material and learn in a fun way. I'm kind, patient, and will not give up until my student learns to love the subject. My philosophy when it comes to teaching is that we're studying to teach, not studying to test. So that when the student is done with the course they're taking, they'll be able to retain the information better because they were studying to understand the information instead of just regurgitating the information for a test.
These lessons are for kids/adults. Anywhere from middle school to college level.

About Joseph
I'm currently an incoming Nursing student. Previously, I was a tutor at my old Community College tutoring Anatomy and Biology. I have been where you have been before, so I understand all the stress and anxiety that comes with being a student. As you've read in "My Lessons," my approach to tutoring is down-to-earth and approachable. I work with what you know and we go from there as we're working through the subject, I'll give examples along the way that'll help connect the dots. This was the same approach I used when I was tutoring at my old Community College and the students there kept telling me how kind and patient I am and how I'm willing to go above and beyond a "regular tutor."
