I met Charlie when I joined one of her choirs. As an amateur singer with no training I jumped at the chance for individual voice coaching when offered. As a singer / songwriter I have found Charlie's approach to vocal tech super helpful. She really listens to me and helps me work on MY sound. We definitely do go there with the vocal tech but I never feel like she is trying to push me away from the singing style I prefer. She has helped me find safe and healthy ways to expand my range and hit high notes with power, but the sound still works for my genre.
