About the lesson

In my personalized style in teaching Spanish language I am relying on communicative approach to different proficiency levels. On regular basis I use audio-visual authentic materials: music videos, original readings and different video podcast. I also teach by singing songs in Spanish and studying their lyrics by discussing the categories of Products, Practices and Prospectives.
My typical lesson plan will start off with a warm up activity which may include an info about what Spanish world celebrates this particular day, followed by Q&A. I often use tongue-twisters and celebrity sayings related to the theme of the lesson. Then the study materials (vocabulary or grammar aspects) are introduced or strengthened in spoken or reading examples.
These lessons can be adapted to different levels of Spanish: Middle school and High school students (College prep, Honors and AP Spanish).
