About the lesson

I have a Master Degree in Spanish and I am also an accredited test examiner DELE (A1, A2, B1, and B2) by Instituto Cervantes. I will work towards achieving your language goals with activities and scenarios that you will be able to relate to and learn from. I offer standard Spanish lesson, exam preparations, or specialized lessons, such as Spanish for Tourists, Business, Medical, etc.

I always evaluate the best methods and strategies for my students. It is essential to know how we learn and teach a language. I work hard to create learning environment that fosters critical thinking and problem solving. This is the reason I love to use several resources like videos, magazines, flashcards, games, pdf lessons, even I have taught how to cook in Spanish.

About Paloma

I have worked as a Math and Science teacher in middle and high school for 15 years in Spain. In 2014, my family and I decided to move to USA, and after and adjustment period, I started working again as a CLS teacher aide.

At present, I am working at a private school where I tech all levels of Spanish using communicative teaching practices, innovative teaching methods, and appropriate technology in the instruction of this wonderful language.

In addition to my experience and bilingual fluency in Spanish (native speaker from Spain) and English, I hold a Master in Biology, Bachelor in Education, Master in Language Arts (Spanish), and I am accredited as a DELE examiner by Instituto Cervantes. Due to the global pandemic, I have a strong work experience in a variety of teaching modalities (in person, live-online, online, and hybrid).

I love teaching, tutoring and talking about Spanish culture.
