About the lesson
HS Degree from the Ecole Bilingue Jeanine Manuel in Paris. The school was recently rated top school in the country and focused on making all the students fully bilingual with half our classes taught in English and the other in French. I graduated with a French Baccalaureate with International Option credits. I also studied Italian for 7 years and speak it fluently. I went on to get a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics with an Italian minor from New York University.

About Pascal
I tutored in NYC for 6 years, working mainly with children, some of whom were students at the Lycee Francais. My main focus was helping them with comprehension to feel comfortable expressing themselves in French. I also helped with homework and academics in general. I think that it is more important to be able to express oneself and be understood than have a perfect accent. That being said, I also helped adults with perfecting their accent and finding how to say words to sound more natural.
Having grown up around both languages, I am quick at finding how to help with making the right sounds. Latin languages just have different mechanics and French has weird sounds for most English speakers but with a bit of work, it's easy to figure out.

Perfect! Pascal has been teaching my kids for a year now. Thanks to him, they have way more confidence and proficiency speaking in French than their former classmates at the dual-immersion French-English school they used to attend!!! I highly recommend him for his accessibilty, amazing work ethic and ability to make learning French both fun and productive. Since he has done such a superb job, my kids will continue to have lessons with him for as long as possible!

Pascal is an excellent tutor- he grew up in France with a French father and an American mother, so he speaks perfect French and English. He also happens to be fluent in Italian! He has years of experience working with people of all age ranges and backgrounds- having been tutored by him in French for over 7 years, I am so thankful to have worked with such a good natured, patient, and caring teacher. Every class is fun and I’m always surprised at the end of a session to realize that what felt like an easy going conversation was in fact an incredibly informative and educational hour of tutoring. Thank you Pascal!!!
