About the lesson
I base my class on a system of hands on learning and exploration discovery. I think it is important to make sure students have the tools to problem solve in many situations, not just a classroom setting. In my class, I like to emphasize that failure is part of the learning process, which can serve as a tool to promote further learning.

I am a teacher and museum educator. I have a B.A. in Human Biology and a B.A. in Anthropology. I have tutored in Algebra and Biology. I have taught k-6th engineering for 2 years. I have also taught space science and animal science to mixed age groups.

Rates are subject to discussion. Travel of more than 20 miles will cost an extra $1/hr. There is no cancellation fee if given at least 2 hours notice. Cancellation sooner than 2 hours from the scheduled time of the lesson will result in full payment for the full scheduled time of the lesson.
