About the lesson
I teach my lessons based around what the student enjoys playing, while also helping to give the student insight into how to practice and be efficient while doing so.
Fundamentals are a large part of what I do, so expect to gain some fresh, fun exercises to improve your playing and help round out your fundamental routine!
I believe in always playing with a beautiful, effortless sound, no matter the circumstances. We are musicians first, and low brass players second.
If you need help with etudes, solos, excerpts, preparing for an audition, or just want to improve your playing in general, please don't hesitate to request a lesson with me! I look forward to working with you.

I took lessons with Zach for around 6 months. I found him to be very knowledgeable and articulate. Zach himself is a talented player as well.
Zachary creates a friendly and judge-free environment when studying under him. He ensures that you understand what he is projecting and what either the audience or the judges for auditions want to hear. He is an excellent bass-trombonist which will inspire his students to want to become better players. Not only is here there for you as an educator, but also a great friend.
