About Vincent
I graduated from SFSU with a Bachelors of Science in Physics and have been tutoring high school and college students for over 3 years. I worked for established companies such as Varsity Tutor, and AJ Tutoring in SF and in Burlingame . My current goal is to attend grad school for materials science and work on developing more efficient means for photovoltaic cells (solar cells). When i'm not geeking out on physics i'm likely to be playing my guitar, woodworking, or rock climbing!

Perfect! enthusiastic, patient, explains concepts in an easy-to- understand way,
Perfect! Gavin loved Vincent, and Gavin has a high bar. He wanted to see no other tutors. Loved Vincent's interaction - nice blend of help/guidance and agency to the student.
- Vincent's response : Gavin seems very eager to learn math that is a level or two beyond his year in school. Very excited to work with him on his exploration into mathematics!
Perfect! Friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Able to tutor a wide variety of maths (algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, etc.)
- Vincent's response : Elouise is a very intelligent learner! Seems to grasp concepts quickly. My constructive feedback for her would be to not rush through problems to avoid making small, compounding errors, and to practice explaining concepts she finds difficult to develop a better understanding. She's a very easy student to work with and is very receptive to feedback!

Vince and I know each other through a statistics course at City College together. Math is not my strong suit and I was incredibly glad to have Vince in my class. He was very quick to understand how to appropriately tackle difficult problems and explain them concisely when he was the first to figure them out. Vince was always eager to lend a helping hand and in group projects he would often elect to take extra time to dive deeper into underlying concepts to develop a more comprehensive understanding, which benefited the whole group. His continued personable and approachable nature allow him to build strong relationships with those he works alongside. With his affinity for mathematics and eagerness to help, I have no reservations in my endorsement of Vince as a professional tutor.
I've known Vincent for a couple of years while we were studying at university. He was an excellent student then, leading class discussions and putting in the extra time to not only finish the homework, but to understand the material on a deeper level. I truly believe that if you decide to go with Vincent as a Superprof that you will feel the effects of his dedication.
Vincent and I frequently worked together on coursework during undergraduate studies. He is the type of teacher that notices when a student doesn’t understand something. He is able to quickly find a way to best explain the concept at its most fundamental level and build up to more advanced topics. His positive attitude and passion for teaching receives my highest recommendation to continue teaching the bright minds of tomorrow.
