About the lesson
Reading and writing can be a challenge, but my goal is to strip away the mystery and give students K-12 grade tips and tricks that will help them succeed.
I approach every student at his or her level, letting them learn at their own pace, but also giving encouraging nudges in the right direction. I expect work to be turned in on time so I can give each student thorough, constructive comments.
I compile the curriculum myself and decide what areas to cover (grammar, spelling, literary analysis, formatting, etc.) based on each student, tailoring my approach to his or her needs.

Ms. Aubrey is fun and upbeat and we enjoy having her teach creative writing to our kids. She's patient and comes up with ingenious ways to make English make sense (she also writes her own grammar and spelling quizzes).
Ms. Aubrey also teaches violin and viola to my high school aged daughter, encouraging her and giving her practice tricks that seem to really help! My daughter's technique has improved so much and I think she actually enjoys practicing now.View more recommendations
