About the lesson
If you're not friends with reading, just watch the video down below :) It will explain everything.
This is what a typical piano program with me will look like
Level 1: Piano keys
Know the white & black keys
Walking through all key names together to memorize it
Level 2: Scales
What is a Major and minor Scale?
Start playing on the piano different scales
Play piano octaves
Level 3: Chords (It will not take too long to start with chords... Like few days)
How to play Major and minor chords?
How to make the chords better using inversions
Level 4: Mastering Chords
Going in depth into chords
Start basic chord progressions
Play different patterns to make the process easier
Play our first song!
Level 5: Diving Deeper into songs
Playing the song: Perfect - Ed Sheeran
Playing with 2 hands at the same time
Using the Pedal (If you have one)
Level 6: You can play lots of songs!
Here, we will do many follow-along songs, playing some songs using all the techniques that we learned in the previous lessons. I will go slowly in my explanation, leaving you with the time to practice while I am playing. The songs are: Can't help Falling in love - Elvis Presley and Easy on me - Adele
Level 7: PLAY BY EAR
Here, and fortunately, I will have the chance to share with you the ways that I found the most effective to play by ear. And because I believe that we learn by doing, we will learn by discovering together how to play the song A Thousand Year - Christina Perri and A Sky Full Of Stars - Coldplay. I will give you a challenge to play 2 songs and correct this together by sharing with you my thought process behind playing by ear. The songs are: Stay with me - Sam Smith and All of me - John Legend
Level 8 & 9: Fast Learning
Discover techniques to quickly know the melody by ear
Discover techniques to directly recognize the chord progression
Discover techniques to directly know the scale
The exceptions to the rules
Level 10: Make it sound Magic
This is a special part of the lessons, where I will guide you through my ways of playing like a pro on the piano, and use my full hand to play. But it's not all theory: We will learn a song called ABCDEFU - GAYLE, and trending song by the time I am writing this. My goal is to make you independent as much as possible, so in the future you don't have to learn from teachers on how to sound like a pro. I placed everything you need to know here, to make the songs that you play sound magic. You will be amazed by how much you can do with the knowledge we gained!
Level11: Improvisation
Here, we are not going to do in depth into improvisation, since we already are able to transform songs from boring to exciting. We learned how to play melody and chords in the right hand at the same time, and how to play octaves with your left hand all over the piano. But this section, is going to be dedicated on how to play a melody you like it. So it's more like composition or improvise your composition. It's a fun section if you want to level up in piano.
Level 12: Reading Notes
Learn how to read Treble and Bass clef
Use key signatures
Level 13: Rhythms
Dots, rests
Time signature
Reading notes together (a follow-along video)
The different rhythms that we can use
Level 14: Advanced part
Here, we are going to to over some information that we used, and play jazz with it.We will also go over a music sheet, and using our knowledge, we will play it directly on the piano. I will also here tell you what I was used throughout this course so maybe you want to use MuseScore or Notion
The different rhythms that we can use
Dots, rests
Time signature
Reading notes together (a follow-along video)

About Joseph
Hi, am Joseph:)
I am a music producer, who worked as a ghost producer for artists, worked in mixing and mastering with LOTS of singers, and most importantly, I play the piano! I had my license in piano, and got into teaching 7 years ago, when my friend was impressed by how I am playing by ear. And from there, I kept developing the most optimal way to teach students how to play by ear, and got into online teaching which was the best decision I ever made: I can now teach students all over the world, from different countries, because I can speak 3 languages (English, French and Arabic). I kept re-investing all the money earned into my teaching setup so the online experience doesn't feel different from the real-world experience in teaching. For me, 100% of the students were satisfied in online teaching, facing no problems understanding the concepts.

Perfect! joseph the best producer teacher all the best
Perfect! Perfect teaching method. We started by learning the basics, then slowly starting to take harder tasks, like finding the chords of a song, then, started to dive in how to find the melody (by ear of course).
It didn't take us long until I started making my own chord progressions, then my own melody.
The teaching was really fun. I recommend him to everyone!Perfect! He teaches a fun exciting way to teach piano with fast results. Im looking forward to more sessions with him. he gives me confidence and motivation to practice. He is very flexible with scheduling and he is like a friend. Thanks Joseph!
- Joseph's response : We started by learning some basics of playing by ear, like how to recognize a scale, and we moved on to start playing real popular songs by ear, and then finally, we will move on to reading notes (optional)
Perfect! My experience with Joseph was amazing, we had a lot of amazing lessons together, he's nice & patient tutor! He always aim to improve my skills in the piano even if I was a complete beginner! He's extremely helpful and dedicated tutor and I will highly recommend him to everyone! Learn from Joseph!!
Perfect! Joseph is really an excellent teacher and everyone must take his trial lesson as you will be moved by his enthusiasm and techniques. He plays really beautiful piano and knows how to teach!
- Joseph's response : Happy is an amazing student, everything was smooth, quick, and easy!

Astonishing... Learned every single bit of music production, and making songs I finally dream of making.
I was always the kind of person who sings when in the car, but never able to execute them.
Right now I can execute any idea that's inside my head. Thanks to his teaching style..If I was to learn music again, I would certainly choose Joseph as my music teacher. Fantastic!
Perfect, perfect perfect. I just got MORE than I asked for... Thank you Joseph!
Amazing. I would put you a 6 stars on the amazing experience of learning I had with you. Good luck!
I REALLY got the top teacher. I will not talk about how good he is, instead, I will just explain what we did throughout the lessons:
1. We started by the very, and I mean VERY basics of music production (I know nothing about music)
2. Jumped to making my first basic song (it was halfway through our second lesson by the way)
3. Our 4th session, we started to mix (You know those knobs that goes up and down? Yes those are mixing. They seem so professional lol)
4. Here I am continuing to learn, advancing through multiple music genres.
I am really enjoying lessons with him, and thanks Joseph for all this value provided!I've been learning for 2 weeks now, and the only thing I can say with absolute confidence is that I loved his teaching style because we played by ear and didn't follow the traditional system of playing notes...
Excellent teacher. Very nice personality along with his teaching style
I really recommend learning with Joseph. Very clear with his instructions and doesn't explain very fast.
Perfect teacher exists... Thank you
Exactly what I was looking for: Playing by ear and eventually playing musical notes. Perfect program with step by step instructions.
To be honest I was kind of lost at the beginning what I wanted to learn. I had a small piano and didn'tthink I can do much with it. I reach out to Joseph, and he was like "yeah let's start" and here I am, playing a song called "Perfect-- Ed Sheeran" on the piano. We discovered this by ear and we will of course learn notes in the future. But for now, I feel from the first 2 weeks that almost everything I want is covered in Joseph's lesson.
A 'super' professor.
I have nothing to say more than I am learning more than enough for being able to play music I like: We started by a few exercises for earn training, then directly jumped into playing some songs (by ear), and right now I am on a level where I am able to play any melody I want without worrying about the notes!
My goal was not to become a professional, but right now I feel that I can do it as a hobby, which is what I originally requested!OK just a second: I know this is an early review (I am still in the 5th session with him), but I, the person who don't know how to play any piano, am able to play by ear, and in our 6th session (today) we are going to discover together how to play some songs that I like BY EAR.
amazing how much can be done with you, really thanks Joseph..
Joseph is amazing. Thanks for him, we were able to see results from the very first week!
We walked through all the problems one by one. He was very patient, and I am happy to have lessons with them. He asked me for my learning style, and we talked together about how we can learn in the most efficient way, which is what happened!
Joseph introduced me to web development, which I thought was VERY complicated. We started by the very basics, and with few sessions, I was able to create my own website. The cool thing, is that it's now available on the web through this link https://taupe-figolla-123050.netlify.app/
It's a very very basic website, and we're still working on a bigger one! Thanks to the amazing techniques like animating the concepts, while keeping me interacted the whole session!View more recommendations

1) When did you first develop a passion for music and your favorite instrument?
1. I started to learn the piano I was 4 years old when my parents took me to a private conservatory. I had a lot of difficulties adapting to this environment because I was not a fan of playing long pieces for Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, etc... 7 years later, after having given my diploma, I started to develop a musical ear, and learn from students interested in playing by ear
02
2) Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?
2. I love classical music. But I don't think I can hear it every day :) That's why I listen to a lot of electric songs "Electric Dance Music" in English, or pop music, and music from movies like Pirates of the Caribbean and others.
03
3) Explain to us the most difficult or riveting course you could personally give to a student of music.
3. After I started playing by ear, I thought that no student wanted to play by ear. At that time, I had a session with a student who was desperate for all teachers: He wanted to learn, to play by ear, and there was no teacher doing that! After learning that he wanted to learn using a different style, I was amazed, and for the first time in my entire life, I learned someone I play by ear. It was a bit tiring but funny!
04
4) What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?
4. I believe there are a lot of difficult instruments, like the violin, viola, and generally a lot of string instruments. But what is certain is that the piano is something easy compared to other instruments.
05
5) What are your keys to success?
5. Try playing by ear instead of reading the notes. Most students get bored when the teacher starts directly by reading the notes. Musical notes are a very important part of playing the piano, but it is best when the student learns to play by ear (knowing how to play any song they want or sing along with the piano accompaniment), and then, learn the notes.
06
6) Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favorite bar in the early hours of the morning. Explain why.
6. I don't have a favorite musician, but I think I like playing with someone who plays guitar :)
07
7) Provide a valuable anecdote related to music or your days at music school.
7. I want more students to learn to play by ear. I don't like it when a student learns for 2 years and is not able to play a song they want... That's why I always say learn to play songs YOU like not songs that teachers like to give you
08
8) What are the little touches that make you a Superprof in music?
8. I'm just telling students the truth: you can't enjoy playing the piano if you don't like what you're playing. You cannot learn the piano in 1 week. I try to make the student enjoy the process as much as possible. Journey before destination!
