High-schooler looking to teach math and English to elementary students. I am flexible and encourage children to become more creative and independent with their learning.

About the lesson

I'm Rilan, a 15 year old Sophomore in high school. I would love to tutor any elementary students on math and English/ELA, I excel at math especially Algebra and English. I want to be a part of young student's learning experience and academic growth. I believe that students, especially with online learning need to be kept engaged and use creativity in all subjects which is why I'd be using a much more student centered approach. I want the learning experience to be centered around the student and my only goal is to help them improve from where they started in a way that works well for them.

About Rilan

Hi, I am Rilan. I'm a 13 year old freshman who loves working with kids. Teaching is something I am very passionate about. During Primary school, I was a teacher assistant and would offer unofficial 1 on 1 teaching to young children in the classroom. I also regularly babysit and supervise children. Overall, I've been able to act as a tutor to my peers throughout school and I am looking to further that experience. I enjoy art, math, and especially writing. I look forward to working with you.
