About the lesson

I give one to two chapters from fiction and science or history. I ask for 200-word essays from these reading sections.

I provide grammar worksheets to teach great skills.

My students who do my work for over a year score at the top of their classes in English and begin to score high on college entrance exams tests.

About Pamela

I am a natural polished English speaker who speaks with proper grammar. You will not hear a heavy accent when I teach. Many teachers confuse the verb tenses when they speak.

I have been tutoring for 8 years.

As a polished American speaker, I understand American and English literature and history. These are important in American College entrance exams.

Many English teachers in school do not grade or review writing for grammar issues. I read and correct the essays while you watch.

When I teach Reading and Writing, I use best-selling authors' books to increase critical reading and writing. Students who don't read very much take 1-2 months to become comfortable with the reading. My students who have done my literature and writing program for over two years, have become incredible writers and readers. They are at least a year or two above grade level. The only way to increase reading skills is to read more. Worksheets are helpful, but they will not become great readers through worksheets.
