About the lesson
When teaching creative fields, my teaching method is personalized, hands on, and student directed. Before I can teach a student, I must first learn from them. What are their goals and expectations for our time together, and how can we approach accomplishing them? I like to create a curated syllabus that gives basic overview of an area of study while also allowing room for the student to divert from the main lesson, or reevaluate their learning goals during our time.
Most lessons will start with a quick warm up and check in, followed by a review of the previous lesson and any pending assignments, and then an in depth lesson of a new topic.
When teaching languages, I alternate between the communicative approach, and the task based method depending on the needs and prior language experience of the student.

I am an actress, born and raised in New York City. My background is in acting, comedy writing, teaching, and babysitting. I was a teaching assistant for Sophomore drama majors at Fiorello H. Laguardia High school, and have previously worked for the Lucy Moses School at the Kaufman Center with children ages 7-14 in their original musical theater summer workshop.
