About the lesson

By way of introduction, I graduated from the Colorado School of Mines, GpE, 1958. I worked for Mobil Oil for 20 years and then started Emerald Exploration Consultants, Inc. (EMEX). At Mobil, I went through their apprentice program so, in addition to oil field seismic, I spent some time on a gravity crew and in the Special Problems Section where I was exposed to gravity, magnetics, MT, refraction analysis, GPR, etc. At EMEX, a highly respected consulting company with more than 100 clients, in addition to the normal oil field seismic, I have done a lot of shallow seismic for coal mine development, site characterization, and MT interpretation. My 42 published papers are available at (concealed information) At Research Gate my reads are over 8,100, with my most read paper “Regional Geology and Exploration Potential of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Utilizing Public Domain Information Including Gravity and Magnetic Data” is over 1,000 reads. My score is 13.67 (in the top 42%), RI is 60.4, citations are 42, and recommendations are 74.
