About the lesson
I adapt my lessons to the level and to the needs of the student. We can work on grammar, reading, speaking and listening. I generally use the French news to encourage the student to express himself/ herself, correct the pronunciation while reading and it is an excellent way for the student to acquire new expressions/vocabulary. I also give exercises based on grammar and make sure to apply what we have seen into context. If you wish, we can also work on business or something more specific.
For the children, I usually use visual support as it can be sometimes challenging to understand the new vocabulary.

About Valerie
I am a qualified teacher from France, I have a bachelor and a master in linguistics (French and English). I am currently doing research on the best methods for teaching a second language (like French) to adults and children. I have been teaching both children and adults for 5 years, from beginner to university levels.
The best way to learn and become bilingual in a new language is to learn it with a qualified and native teacher. ;-)
