I believe in teaching strategies so students can apply to academics and beyond. Providing and creating resources that students can touch and feel is key to learning at such a young age. I teach the child first, we work together, and then the child independently completes activities.

About Jackie

I have a Masters in Language Arts and a Teaching License in Elementary Education. I have been in education for over in 25 years. I am currently working with several children from 4 years old to 5th grade. I love the excitement when students finally get it! I've seen children go from not reading to reading and getting back on track to their grade level. I prefer in-person tutoring sessions since students receive so much screen time. I believe in a hands-on approach.
