About the lesson

My lessons are very catered to each students needs and musical desires. I try to base all my lessons on the musical interests of the students.

I have a strong emphasis on music theory in my teaching style, as it is my goal for all students to work towards being self sufficient musicians who can gain independence on their instrument. Regardless of style, I feel that theory is the way to achieve that.

I'm a guitarist and award winning composer, well versed in styles from jazz to classical, rock to blues, and all styles in between. I have a bachelor's in guitar from Berklee College of Music, and a Master of Music in Jazz Studies from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA.
