About Laetizia
I am a native French speaker with a Master's degree in History from Paris4-Sorbonne and a Master's in International Studies from HEI Paris.
I have worked in France as a journalist at Corse-Matin newspaper as well as a freelancer, and at the Museum of Corsican Prehistory.
In the USA, I have tutored students from the Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia, children enrolled in the French International School in Bala Cynwyd and a PhD student from Hunter College of the City University of New York.
I can help you reach your personal or academic goals.
The fee is 40 dollars per hour and I only meet in public places.

Perfect! Laetizia was a wonderful tutor. I had just a few weeks to bone-up and get ready for my language exam for my PhD and she was great. She found passages of increasing difficulty in various different contexts, from popular magazines to early modern philosophy, to help me get ready to translate. Her knowledge of grammar is especially helpful, as she worked with me to help me understand the uses of passive and active voice in French and how to translate it into English. With her help, I passed an exam that I was very nervous about!

I am happy to recommend Laetizia as a French tutor. For the final seven weeks of the 2016-2017 academic year, Laetizia worked as the French tutor for our Academic program. When my previous French tutor moved away unexpectedly, fortunately I was able to find Laetizia. She took over tutoring duties immediately and did a wonderful job.
During her time as our French Tutor, Laetizia worked with a number of students and all spoke very well of her assistance. She has a quiet and easy-going demeanour, helping her have smooth interactions with the students. She was able to effectively convey concepts of the French language to my English-speaking students so that they were successful in their coursework.
