Enthusiastic foreign language learner and tutor with five years experience teaching online through bilingual language exchanges

About the lesson

I normally start teaching through causal conversation in order to gain a general ideal of how well my language partners speak. After I determine their speaking proficiency level, I give them short grammatical lessons to explain why they should express their thoughts and ideas in specific way and how they should be used in context using examples. In addition, when my language partners communicate with me through text messaging, I often times correct their writing so they can improve their speaking and writing proficiency skills.

About Christopher

I'm a college graduate with a Bachelor's Degree concentration in Spanish. I developed conversational fluency in the language after using social media apps to meet a variety of native Spanish speakers from Latin America and Spain. During the past five years, the bilingual language exchanges gave me the opportunity to develop my teaching skills while learning about the Spanish culture and language. In addition, I taught young Hispanic children English and native English speakers Spanish. Thanks to my teaching efforts, many of my language partners developed intermediate and advance level conversational skills.
