About the lesson
In my teaching, I emphasize student-centered learning, student ownership, and self-directed work. My students learn to embrace reading and writing again, finding the joy in both. I challenge my students to expand their reading--to discover what they love--and to find their voice in their writing and harness the written word as an artistic means of self-expression, as well as communication.

Review
All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by students with Monica.
Perfect! Monica has been teaching my 6-year-old reading fundamentals and working to build up her confidence in this area. Monica exhibits such patience, teaches with humor and whimsy each time she engages with her. My daughter has said she enjoys her lessons with Miss Monica because she is given space to be heard. Monica is a talented instructor willing to go the extra mile for my child and I highly recommend her to other families. I am thankful to Superprof for connecting us. Thank you!
- Monica's response : Rhiannon's child is a wonderful one, and I'm glad I got to meet them!

I know Ms. Monica Sprayberry well. I was one of her faculty teachers in the Department of Theatre and Media Arts at Brigham Young University. I taught her in Introduction to Theatre in the Winter of 2002, her first directing course (TMA 236) in the winter of 2004, and she was in my senior directing course (TMA 436) in the fall of 2012, where I mentored her through her senior directing project. I am fully aware of Monica’s skills and abilities in education and recommend her to you without any reservations.
Ms. Monica Sprayberry is an excellent private tutor, capable of shaping young minds and influencing their characters. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University in April of 2014, with a Theatre Education major and an English Teaching minor. She also earned a certificate in Theatre in Education (TIE) for K-12 classes. Ms. Sprayberry is a mature and seasoned educator. As a full-time teacher in both Idaho and Utah, Ms. Sprayberry received multiple letters of commendation and was awarded a Distinguished Faculty Recognition. Another reason she is a capable private tutor is because of her experience and maturity as an educator that is involved in the lives of her students in the classroom and in extra-curricular theatrical activities. She also has current certifications in CPR, First Aid and in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. Additionally, she has on-site training in suicide prevention, Trauma-informed Care Giving, and Stages of Change.
I encourage you to trust Ms. Sprayberry as you are seeking effective and beneficial educational experiences.

Monica is a dedicated teacher, she spent hundreds of dollars on a substantial in-class library for her students to use, she was involved in many plays in school and always gave 100% of her time and effort. Monica is highly recommended. Monica has my contact information if you have and other questions, thanks Robert St.Jacques
Monica strives to encourage creativity and collaboration among her students. She values ideas from everyone and respects all who wish to participate.
I would recommend Monica. She is super trustworthy, and very understanding and trustworthy when times are tough.
I had the privilege of working with Monica at Heritage Schools, where she demonstrated her ability to motivate high school students who were at risk. She is intelligent and passionate about helping students learn. She uses her creativity to find ways to connect with students, even the ones who are struggling the most.
Monica and I were university students together; I’ve known her for many years. She is a dedicated and passionate teacher and advocate of the English language. She is profoundly dedicated to the growth of her students. Monica sets high expectations for her students, and works hard to provide the support necessary to help them succeed.
I have had the opportunity to work alongside Monica in a professional community. Monica, is a gifted teacher who shows an exceptional ability to curate her teaching style to the needs of the student and shows mastered knowledge of her content.
Monica is an amazing teacher because she’s energetic and uses fun and different styles to teach English.
I have known Monica for 2 years as a teaching colleague. Throughout my time I have seen Monica help students in various ways to have them actively engage with the material through reading, writing, projects, journals, discussions, and debates. The students worked well to learn the material and they grew in their academic skills.
Monica also worked to be an effective colleague through engaging and taking the initiative with PLC groups to improve herself and others to help students have more meaningful learning experiences in the classroom. She also planned and led many weekly experiential learning activities on and off campus to help the students learn valuable skills including the compassion games, collaborative learning, and team building activities and various types of career and college preparedness activities.
Monica is also an effective listener and she is teachable. She works to improve and give her suggestions to help others to grow. I had the opportunity to co-teach English and I was very impressed with her effective classroom management, engaging lessons and working to help students learn and grow.
I give my highest recommendation for Monica in any teaching setting. She will do her best to be a contributing member of the faculty and to help students grow and learn and they will know that she wants them to succeed.
Monica is a great and very trustworthy teacher, we met in school she was my English teacher and I gotta say, even though I didn't like English she did a great job in teaching me. She's trustworthy and if she says she's going to show you or teach you something there's no doubt she'll do it! Monica always keeps her side of the deal! She's a real one.
Mrs. Sprayberry was my High school Drama/Theatre Class.
I was introduced to the class via a few friends. Mrs. Sprayberry (Monica) was a very helpful and interactive teacher. She always included every student. She was helpful when learning a script. She tested us to make sure we were putting in our own personal efforts both inside and outside the classroom. She is dedicated to her work. She has a friendly manner to her that makes it easy to go up to her with a question about an assignment or a lesson. She strives to help her students do their best. Opinion: she is an awesome teacher and I am grateful to have met and learned from her.Monica was my university classmate, and I was privileged to collaborate with her on numerous occasions, my favorite being our advanced Shakespeare seminar. She is enthusiastic about her subject matter, easily approachable, and extremely knowledgeable. She would be an asset to any English learner.
Monica isn't just a teacher, she is someone who is truly inspirational. She was my English and Theatre teacher in high school. She gives her all to every one of her students. She is a woman who is dedicated to helping others succeed. She is very knowledgeable and caring. She is a teacher who expects you to do the best you can, and is more than willing to help aid you. She is the kind of teacher who knows how to handle a class and not walked over. Overall, she is the best teacher I have ever had.
Never made students feel bad when they failed. She would encourage students to get out of there comfort zone, standing alongside them as they worked out of it. She tried her best to make as many students happy as possible.
She was my middle school teacher and she was amazing. She always thinks of the people who are learning before herself. She doesn't let others comments get to her, and she deserves to do what she loves. Which is teaching
