As a tutor, I can bring an in-depth understanding of text and summarization alongside many different lesson plans for essay organization. I will provide lessons directed at all high school and middle school levels. Personally, essay writing and summarization have always been second nature to me, and id like to utilize my skill as a way to help others succeed.

I am currently a college student with hopes of becoming a psychiatrist, and with that comes the need for proper communication, guidance, and of course many English classes. I can confidently say that I know my way around the subject in every aspect from annotation and summarization to argumentative and research essays.

Sierra Starr has been extremely helpful to me with understanding poems and passages, and has walked me through critical thinking processes of analyzing literature. Not only that, Sierra has also been great with constructive criticism in any essay or song I have written, and helps me learn how to express myself better or make myself more clear. Overall she is a wonderful teacher, and overall an amazing guide.
Sierrastarr helped my son though an entire unit where he left with a 90. Je jas a had time and is dyslexic, but she found a way to change the work into something easier for him. I am so greatful, she is a family friend, but an absolute gem of a teacher.
