English major with training in education offering tutoring in reading and writing

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is student-centered. I like to get to know the person I'm working with so I can better adjust my help to their particular needs. It is important to me for the student to communicate and engage in the lesson so I know they are learning the material. I also feel that a student's personal interests should be included when possible to encourage motivation, memorization, and real understanding.
