About the lesson
As a recent high school graduate, trust me when I say that I fully understand how grueling middle and high school English courses can be – they're brutal.
Knowing this, through customizing my lesson plans with the help of each of my students, my goal is to make English literature and essay writing as painless as humanly possible. I promise, smooth sailing through English is achievable, and I want to show you how I did it.
Sign up for tutoring with me and let's work through Hamlet together. :)

About Madison
Contrary to the majority of human beings, English has always been my favorite subject in school.
I've always enjoyed figuring out how words can work together and I'm so excited to finally teach my process of understanding the flow of writing to other students.
At its core, I like to think of writing like music. It has rhythm, beat, and even pitch, but so many students aren't taught to recognize this!
Thus, my process of teaching English is basically to teach my students to learn and adapt to the the ins-and-outs of this literary "music" and to make English as enjoyable as possible.
Essay writing is a breeze when you learn to hear the rhythm of your words, and I want to make sure every one of your essays going forward comes out a Grammy-worthy masterpiece.

Madison is actually my twin sister, and I have been able to learn English from her for my entire life. I have never been very good at English, and I have really always loathed it, but Madison showed me a different lens to look through. She very easily coached me through what I was doing wrong, and she has shown me that English is not a subject that is impossible to get better at. Take it from me, Madison is a wonderful tutor and mentor, and you will love meeting her.
Madison is incredibly intelligent and capable. She's compassionate, patient and eager to help others. Madison exudes passion and knowledge with patience and positivity. I highly recommend her!
Madison has been my best friend for the past two years, and she 1. goes to Harvard so she’s obviously genius, 2. is very thorough and will make sure you understand the topic covered, and 3. is qualified to cover this material because of what she has studied during highschool and courses she is taking in college.
