Hello, thank you for choosing me.
I enjoy teaching people of all ages across the world. Group class give my students the feeling of unity and joy.
In the beginning I may ask students to share successes and accomplishments. Then we will draw. Drawing is very intuitive. Almost like a meditation. Everyone’s individual focus is necessary. As we create, I'll give individual encouragement and feedback. This is how I was trained and this is how I train artists. Confidence is key, so please remember, mistakes make your work better. Everything is fixable.

I caught my mother's attention at the age 5 when I started drawing. I have been an artist for about 30 years. Art is not just what I create, it is who I am. Art is freedom. Growing up in Miami, my parents would enroll me in art classes. I mastered drawing hands, which is said to be the most difficult. I find it to be easy. I love portraiture. I am able to connect with people and help them see themselves in a beautiful way. I auditioned as a visual arts major and was accepted into my art high school in Canada. This is where I honed my craft as an artist. University taught many techniques and drawing onsite is something I enjoy doing. Join me on this exciting adventure and learn.

Perfect! My six years old daughter loved her class. She is so patient, fun, kind and engaging. She is also an amazing educator and is able to hold the attention of the class even in this online format. Highly recommend to anyone. Thank you so much, Ms. Kamel!!

Art for Kamel is the air she breathes and any students would be honored to have her as an Art teacher. She has previously taught students in various facets and had the opportunity to see her lead with patience, enthusiasm, and pure joy. One of her greatest gifts is putting students at ease when learning becomes difficult and her teaching demeanor allows her to reach all students of all learning levels.
