About the lesson
I have been tutoring Algebra 1 & French for the past ten years and my students always had great results. During my tutoring sessions I start by introducing the subject by giving helpful examples to help students grasp the concepts I am teaching; then I give them the chance to solve the problems on their own and I will step in when I see them struggling by guiding them until they find right answer. This method is adjusted depending on the subject taught and the students needs. At the end of each session I always make sure all the concepts taught where understood and make myself available for further questions or approaches. I aim to help students build durable study methods and gain confidence in order to succeed during exams.

I’m Aileen, I started tutoring when I was in high school by helping my peers understand the lessons and study on practice exams. I had very good feedback from the peers I tutored, I was told on multiples occasions that I was able to explain hard materials and break it down into easier and understandable concepts. Tutoring in high school was an enriching experience and I decided to continue tutoring throughout college where I pursued a Bachelor in Mathematics at the University of Montreal.
