About the lesson
My teaching has a strong emphasis on technique. This means good setup, control of the bow, and playing without tension. At the end of the day, I want all of my students to enjoy music and for them to develop the skills to share their own musical ideas!

About Katelyn
Teaching cello lessons has kept my passion for playing the cello alive and thriving! I have a degree in music and I’m currently attending a conservatory in Europe. Since the pandemic, I’ve been improving my online studio and creating a better experience for my students!

My son been taking online lessons with Katelyn for about six months. She is great at communicating and drawing out all of her students potential!! Definitely would recommend!
Katelyn is extremely smart, patient, and kind. She really cares about helping people genuinely succeed and achieve their performance goals. She is amazing!!
Katelyn is a a fantastic cello teacher (I’ve also experienced her teaching English to international students online as well!). I have heard her instruct several students, and have experienced how she customizes her coaching techniques based on the student so as to optimize effectiveness. She has a great balance of encouraging her students while also challenging them to reach for higher achievement. She is approachable and kind. Give her a try!
