Biology tutor for high school level students. I am passionate about including art and visual aids in my teaching style to reach a broader range of students who are interested in science.

About the lesson

I like to start off with basic definitions of the vocabulary the students are expected to use in their classes, and build off of the mechanisms or systems they need to understand. I find it very helpful to include visual graphics whenever possible to help the student visualize biological organisms such as cells, which can be difficult to understand at a molecular level especially for visual learners.

Biology major at Santa Clara University class of 2023. Experience with AP/IB biology courses at a high school level, and any introductory biology courses at a university level. I earned the International Baccalaureate program diploma in high school. I have experience working with kids ages 8-14 during the summers as a soccer instructor.
